The clean lines of the frame paired with the T-style back cushions create a simple, yet inviting sofa for every space. This piece combines a flat 5″ track arm with a low profile or deep bottom rail, with wedge legs. ![]() This is perfect for that transitional space as it combines the best of modern and traditional design. The single bench seat streamlines the three back cushions. The contoured sloping arm is graceful to the eye, but also fits a natural arm position perfectly. It takes a classic rolled arm and adds that modern element with the angled arm. If you like traditional but want to mix it up a bit, this is the sofa for you. With the topstitched seat cushions and knife edge back cushions, these subtle details offer an understated simplicity to the design. A perfect fit for a formal space or a cozy family room. This sofa is both graceful and comfortable. More contemporary than a traditional rolled arm, but softer than a straight track arm. A single bench seat is more streamlined and works well in contemporary settings. Doing two or three seats, like above, provides a bit more of a traditional look. It’s big enough to feel sturdy, but not too big so that it overpowers the piece. The sofa arms are a perfect height to rest your arms on, or if lying down, very comfortably cradles your head. Kiln-dried hardwood frames have been stabilized and won’t warp over time, so you can reupholster with confidence or resell your quality piece.ĥ) Should you be considering a sofa shorter than six feet, you may want to go for two club chairs and an ottoman instead.Ħ) Use painters’ tape to stake out the location of your new sofa. We recommend high-density foam wrapped in a down and feather blend so that cushions return to their original shape but are comfortable.Ĥ) Request eight-way hand-tied or bench-made frames.
